In the Studio...

Here is a good shot of my usual painting stance. As you can see, my 'studio assistant' is a great help to my concentration. I think the warmth of body contact helps his old, creaky bones. Anytime a lap appears, he makes a great effort to be in it.

I'm thinking of calling this painting, "Dance," although it strikes me as unbearably saccharine.

Oh! The Floofer!! That's a great pix- and reminds me of another cat who would plunk himself in your violin case when you practiced.

I think Dance is a perfectly good title. That kitty looks exactly like my oldest one.

He is my oldest, too. (And only!)The vet guesses his age somewhere around 17....

Thank you for your positive words on my blog...they mean tons to me. I am thinking of starting a scrap book/journal to record this whole event...I will print and cut and glue your words right in the book!!

I am sure I will coming back for advice soon.
